Buhler High student Raiden Stewart, jr. is holding wrestling workouts after school during the pre-season as part of his Passion Pursuits project and to get teammates back in shape for the up and coming season.

Stewart has been wrestling for seven years after his parents got him into it and has had quite an impressive past few seasons. Stewart said that the best thing about the sport is the competition.

The practices that Stewart has been holding have all been on his own and during his own time and consist of different conditioning exercises, sparring, and other activities to get participants in much better shape.

“My goal would be for newer or returning wrestlers to have better shape for the season,” Stewart said.
