The Buhler marching band practices during the summer in order to get ready for the marching season. Band Director Eric Stambaugh instructs the band during summer band camp.
The band performed the second movement of their show prior to the Homecoming football game.
“The ultimate goal for our band this year is to put out our best product at every competition and game,” said Stambaugh.
Marching band students chose the theme of the show from three options. According to Stambaugh, “they chose an aggressive show which is out of the ordinary for the show story-line.”
This year’s show is about dragons living amongst us and the conflicts that come with it.
The storyline is about how dragons and people interact and the overall conflicts among them.
Band performed for the first time on Friday, September 12 at the first football home varsity football game.
Buhler High School Band practices at the high school for 3 hours each day in school and many put in work outside of that.
