Buhler High School seniors Marcus Brooks, Xavier Garcia, and Shayden Collins did their Passions Pursuits project on “Eye to Eye, Ear to Ear.”
The name comes from the idea of meeting face-to-face with people who will listen and over time develop a sense of trust.
The first meeting was held on Tuesday, Feb. 26 in the library. Brooks said that this meeting’s whole idea was for people to feel safe, and meet new people. At the meetings, people can talk about their troubles in school or life. Brooks said the first meeting went surprisingly well. He also said they are trying to set another meeting time, but they don’t know when it will be yet.
