The BHS Crusaders for Controversial Issues is a group where students can go to talk about anything and everything deemed controversial. Topics are typically political in nature.

The first topic the club covered last semester was gun control. Other topics the club has talked about have been topics such as legalization of drugs and the death sentence.

Club officer Emmet Engle, jr., said the group will continue meetings during the second semester. Club meetings are about every other week during lunch and sometimes after school in order to have longer conversations. Everyone is welcome to attend, but to be considered a member of the organization you have to attend 4 meetings.

The club will be holding its next meeting on Friday, Jan. 18, and the topic will be about immigration.
