Buhler soccer players and student fans celebrate after the 2-1 win over KCCS.


On Saturday, Nov. 3,  Buhler soccer played in the State Championship game against the Bishop Miege Stags. Buhler fell to Meige 4-0 in the 4-1A State finals. The Crusaders held the Stags to two goals in the first half, but Buhler couldn’t make a comeback. Bishop scored another two in the second half completing the win.

The Crusaders got to State by beating Kansas City Christian School 2-1 on Friday, Nov. 2. Tyler Westfall, jr., scored the first goal of the night in the first half, followed by Kaden Quint, sr., who put a ball to the back of the net during the second half. With 11 seconds left in the game, KCCS scored. The Crusaders and their fans celebrated the victory.
