Last Thursday, Oct. 25, Buhler soccer won Regionals beating the Berean Academy Warriors, 3-0. The first goal of the night came from Carter Engelken, jr., off of a corner kick from his brother Camrin Engelken, jr., in the 17th minute. The other two goals coming from Cade Taylor, jr., and Nick Willm, so.

Buhler will play the Winfield Vikings tonight in the state quarter-finals. The last time these two teams met, Buhler pitched a 6-0 shutout. The game will begin at 6 p.m. at Crusader Stadium.

The winner of this game heads to KC-Piper HS Athletic Complex to play in the semi-finals on Friday. The other teams still in the hunt for the 4A title include Hays-Thomas More Prep, Topeka-Hayden, Baldwin High School, Prairie Village-Kansas City Christian, Shawnee Mission-Bishop Miege, and Olathe-Heritage Christian Academy.
