Journalism teacher Sarah Berblinger is pictured with students in her first hour 21st Century Journalism class. Courtney Erskin, fr., and Carver Terrell, fr., have helped to revive the BHS newspaper, now in this online form. The printed version of The Crusader stopped publication in 2005.
Mrs. Berblinger worked at Prairie Hill Middle School for 11 years. She started teaching 32 years ago as a journalism teacher at Hutchinson High School, but hasn’t done yearbook work since 1995. She is excited to be teaching at Buhler High School doing journalism and photography again. Berblinger plans to get to know students.
In the past she worked at a store, was a camp director, and served as the communication director for an engineering group.
She enjoys doing community theater as the mean characters and watching sports such as college football. Her son is currently a student football coach at Emporia State. She also has 2 daughters; one is a teacher and one is a senior at K-State.
